Decription : 2 days / 1 night Day 1 Welcome in VALLON PONT D’ARC around 9am. Information will be given about the down-river in canoe-kayak. Choose between : The long down-river, a 27 Km trip in the heart of the Gorges of the Ardeche canyon. For beginners and families with children : Prefer the short down-river that will take only a half-day and will let you plenty of time to do stops in beaches and jumps in the river. A pleasant trip at one’s own rhythm with the passage under the PONT D’ARC! The afternoon will be for exploring a “village de caractère” in the region. In the evening all the participants will meet up at the holiday resort in a warm atmosphere with all the day’s adventures to be told…for unforgettable memories. Day 2 GUIDED VISIT of AVEN D’ORGNAC, a magnificent natural site. Here, nature let‘s us into its mysteries, to tell us a story that started 110 million years ago where time has shaped a fantastic underground world and has left us its memory. Visit to the Prehistory museum that presents the prehistoric heritage of the Ardèche. Your accommodation : Holiday Resort or 2** to 3*** Hotel Residence with rooms or apartments for 2 to 4 people. Half Board : Diner + Breakfast at the Holiday Resort or Hotel. Price : From 118 € par person Included The accommodation, based on double bedroom Diner of Day 1 (drinks not included) Breakfast of Day 2 Lease of material for the short unaccompanied down-river with return transport by shuttle bus to the departure point. Guided visit to the Aven d’ORGNAC and ticket entrance to the Prehistory Museum. Not included The extra charge for the LONG DOWN-RIVER with transport back to the departure point : 10 € per person The extra charge for individual bedroom The cancellation insurance, repatriation, luggage. ATTENTION : For the down-river of the Gorges of the Ardeche in canoe, children must be over 7 years old and it is compulsory to know how to swim. You will need sport shoes, swimsuit, sun cream and picnic for meal. The long down-river (27 KM) is difficult and tiring for children.
